Hi All,
I'm an happy user of my xa1 g3112 updated with last version Android 7 40.0A.6.175
I suppose after the last update a bug has been triggered and now I'm suffering a battery drain issue
Bluetooth is continuosly eating battery in the listed application is always on top or second place
This is happening despite no devices are connetced
So far that's the list of attempt I've done to fix the issue wihtout luck:
- Reboot in safe mode
- delete all the devices paired
- restore app permission
- Disabled bluetooth scanning
- enable stamina
- as last flag bluetooth processes as not optimized
Anyone has the same exerience, any fix thanks
Stefano

Hi,
I have a brand new XA1 and I can confirm I am too having this bug with the latest firmware available today. Bluetooth is consistently listed as either the top or the second-largest power consumer.
Hi,
I just got a xa1 and I have the same problem, which is quite annoying to have a new phone with a battery that doesntlast as long as my old phone 0_o ... I haven't seen anything to fix this beside disabling bluethoot when not in use, which is annoying with things like fit bit and all. Anyone else as more info?
Thanks
After several checks I reach the conclusion this is not really a drain battery bug but only a bad reporting on the battery statistics
As example just now I have the 45% of remaining battery and the battery usage is reporting Bluetooth consumption of 1543 mah
That condition isn't possible considering also the consumption of others applications because the sum provides a battery capacity greater than 3000 mah
In reality the battery capacity is 2300 mah
In any case it's annoying and only oreo update can fix it
I've received oreo update this morning and after 12 hours I haven't anymore any issue
Bluetooth stack has been renewed as per below link
https://www.google.it/amp/s/www.androidauthority.com/sony-ldac-codec-790690/amp/
Still a couple of days before to say problem is gone
I was just thinking of asking you if they have fixed the bug, in these days I have not had time to update, great news

After several days of usage I can confirm that I haven't any drain anymore
Battery consumption is even better than before
Today I've restarted the phone because I wasn't able to answer to the calls. Sliding the screen the phone was still ringing but after the reboot I didn't had any problem anymore
In any case that's really an indication of how much was low the maturity of nougat and all the updates received in between were only security patches without any user improvement
My System was already update but still got high battery drainage. I solved just changing the Bluetooth version from 1,5 to 1,4 in the developper options.
Good to know but I've oreo and v1. 5 and no issues after several months
