Bluetooth and Wifi Issues

In the last few weeks I've been experiencing frequent issues with my bluetooth and wifi.  My phone forgets my bluetooth headset and I have to resync to get it to work.  As well with my wifi it will have authentication issues with my router.  I often have to restart my phone to fix both the bluetooth and the wifi issues.

This is getting extremely frustrating.  I only bought this phone at the end of August and it's already having issues.

I'm in Turkey. I'd Android 8.0.0 update automatically which is one of Sony's periodically updates.

I also got the update last night and everything seems to be working fine!

Clear out the cache memory under the Bluetooth and Bluetooth midi service system app. That seems to fix the problem I had with this same issue.

You might experience that your phone sometimes drops the Wi-Fi connection while Bluetooth is turned on. This is known behaviour that will be addressed in a later software release.

Note! Software updates are released at different times depending on the operator, market, region or country. Therefore, we cannot give you an exact date for when a specific update will be available for your device. In addition, network operators and specific markets may choose not to use the updates for specific models.

A workaround until the solution is available is to turn Bluetooth off.

To turn Bluetooth off

1. Find and tap Settings > Device connection.
2. Tap the switch beside Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth off.

Здравствуйте! Уточните пожалуйста, когда ориентировочно можно ожидать обновление программного обеспечения в России? Российская служба поддержки очень плохо работает. Предлагали мне обнулить смартфон и переустановить ПО. О проблеме с Bluetooth и Wi-Fi вообще узнали только от меня, хотя на русскоязычных форумах об этом давно пишут. Заранее благодарен!

Hello! Please specify, when tentatively you can expect a software update in Russia? The Russian support service works very badly. They offered me to reset the smartphone and reinstall the software. Unfortunately, turning off Bluetooth doesn't resolve the issue for me. I have also cleared Bluetooth cache, still no luck. When can we expect an update that sorts this out in the UK please?

should've mentioned - my work mobile (also Android) has no issues at all connecting to the same networks.

I have an xperia xa (f3111) and the same problem occurs with android 7.0. I read that android 8.0 doesn't have this problem. Is it True? Is Sony going to release an 8.0 update for my Phone?  For the record I am form Poland. Waiting For any info.

Is there an actual fix for this? A bandaid isn't adequate.

This issue doesn't exist in Android 8.0. My xa1 ultra was updated and issue gone. I'm in the US, I can also confirm its not an issue on xa2 ultra.
