Can't Download or update apps through What's New

Hi all. I've just pursase Xperia XA1 and couldn't update its firmware through wifi (it was "downloading" without any progress). That was solved updating it through the computer, but now, I've noticed that the same happens when I try to update What's New app or try to download apps through it. I don't have any problem downloading or updating through Google Play. Can anybody help me?

After a little research I've found the solution myself, so I post here in case someone is experiencing the same issue. 

My problem was that I couldn't update What's New application through WiFi (which is mandatory), couldn't download applications through What's New (again, using WiFi), but also couldn't download Google langage packs (again, using WiFi) and neither download big applications through Google Play when "download only through WiFi" was marked, despite WiFi worked OK for everything else, even for downloading big applications unmarking the "download only through WiFi" option.

The SOLUTION was simpler that advised from the Sony Local Chat Support (what was doing a software repair, which I fortunately didn't do). Consisted in, been connected to the WiFi network, go to Settings -> Connections -> Data usage -> Network restrictions and UNCHECK my WiFi network (which was checked automatically for some reason). After that, everything works OK.

Thanks this solution worked well - my ph was continually downloading - very weired! But unchecked network restictions and it's back to normal now, Cheers
