@WirelessWonkFL is quite right, you should find it by long pressing the ⏎ key.
You can also set up a dedicated emoji button if you like by going to Settings > Language & Inputs > SwiftKey Keyboard > Typing > Keys and enable the "Dedicated emoji key" option.

I had the same question - it was baffling me! Then I saw it:
Once the keypad is activated and cursor is in the Write message field, just press and hold the Return/New Line key ⏎ at the bottom right of the screen. (Using the stock messaging app, on the Xperia XA1, running Android 7.0)

am not able to find this SwiftKey Keyboard option in my Sony M2 dual phone.
