xperia x compact not reading sim

for some reason my phone has told me there is no sim and no service when the sim is in the phone. i even tried my dads sim and it doesn't work. anybody got any ideas why it doesn't read a sim anymore please

Have you inserted the SIM card the wrong way? you could repair the phone with XC but this seems more of a hardware issue than software. You should contact your Local support to get it inspected.

there is only one way to put the sim in the holder tray and yes i think it is a hardware problem as it won't read any sims at all. thanks though

Mine won't pick up signal takes ages to pick up sim repair doesn't work

Me sale el teléfono no permitió MM N °6 ayudenme me dicen k estaría reportado k puedo hacer. Les agradecería mucho k me ayudaran a resolver este pequeño problema 

I get the phone did not allow MM No. 6 help me tell me k would be reported k can do. I would be very grateful if you would help me solve this little problem
