Sony Xperia X won't browse the internet

I bought a Sony Xperia X in November and it has been working fine until last week when it sporadically stopped browsing the Internet. The first time this happened I was using my home WiFi and the issue was resolved by switching the device off and on again.

The next time this happened it was when I was using mobile data and switching off also solved the problem. However today it will not work on either WiFi or mobile data and switching off has not solved the problem.

All other functions are still working but when I type a search term into Google nothing happens and there is no upload bar showing that it is searching. Nothing happens at all.

I would be grateful of ny advice you can provide.

Hiya again, this actually worked but only once I had switched off once more and then on again. Phone browses perfectly again. Thank you very much for your advice.
