Hello,
Can you help me get my Sony Xperia X 64GB back in operation? Phone bought in August 2017.
Symptoms:
My phone does not reach the end of its startup process and it tries to start indefinitely without ever succeeding. When the phone is plugged in, it does in order:
When the phone is unplugged, the LED is always off.
Circumstances:
Last night my Xperia X offered me to make a system update.
The update process ran overnight with the phone plugged into its charger.
This morning I find my phone with the symptoms described above.
Sincerely.
Your phone is stuck somewhere.
I don't see if it is on or off.
Presuming it is off
Push the start button
As soon as the SONY appears push the vol-down button and keep it pressed.
It will pass the powerd by android
The X will appear
It will vibrate
Release the vol-down and it will enter safe mode.
I don't think it will work, but it is worth the try
If it did help you you will have saved the content of your phone.
The solution that will work is a software repair using Xperia Companion
It will install the software for you.
Problem is that you will lose all content on internal memory.
Hopefully you have ticked the backup possibilities from Sony and/or Google beforehand.
Report what was successful please.
same problem here....
It's a continuous loop. I cannot interrupt it. It won't even let me power the device down, let alone start up in safe mode.
After the battery has worn itself out, and my phone was shut down, I was able to start the repair process through PC companion, but on both of my attempts this has failed.
I have no idea what could have caused this but it has rendered my phone absolutely useless.....
Kleintje : Press the start button and the vol-up to stop the phone. It is not very useful but it is nevertheless a first step.
Strampke : Thank you for your suggestion. The result is unchanged except that during the display of "Xperia" there is a vibration. But, just after, the animation freezes and the end is the same as described in my 1st post ...
That's a pity.
I am shure there is a solution. Let's wait till the developers arrive at their office tomorrow.:smileyhappy:
For this moment I would advise you to switch your phone off. (no more loops)
Then charge it to full charge.
After that do a software repair using Xperia Companion.
problem solved using xperia companion
