Does Xperia X still overheat?

Hey guys, Im thinking about buying a Xperia X, but I heard alot about it is overheating when recording video. Is this still true or has it been fixed?

You'll notice the most improvement by turning off focus tracking.

Yes, It hits a lot. Almost all the time it is hot. I can't even use my camera.

Yes it does still overheat and then shuts camera down because of it, no good especially if videoing an important event.

Best is to follow the beforementioned tips.

• don't overheat it in the sun
• switch off object tracking
• do not use full hd (60FPS)

Yes it does. So, two years later, this still seems to be an issue...

This is what my Xperia X phone is doing: it is overheating also when I am not charging it. 

When I want to take photos in an air conditioned train or bus now in the summer, after one minute or sometimes not even that long), the phone will be hot and it turns off the camera. 

This is my first phone that has this problem. 

I only have a few, basic Apps running while offline, not listening to music or doing anything - I just want to take photos. 

My phone is 17 months old - please don't tell me that this is because of its age: I've had 2, much more primitive Sony Ericsson phones, one for 3 1/2 years, the other for 6 (six!) years - never any problems. 

Well, what to do with Xperia X overheating?
