Cant open my contacts after uppdate to 8.0 oreo

I had the same problem because the Google contacts synchronisation app was deactivated. I solved the problem by reactivating the app.

I have never used Google contacts, and shore not The sync..

The contact app from Sony is constantly crashing when i try to open it :S

I have never encounter this before..
