Built-in messaging app

It keeps showing "Downloading" notification even I restart the phone. I did click into this notification but it only shows a blank new draft message. How can I get rid of this notification?

Maybe it is an MMS that has to be downloaded? Have you tried enabling mobile data?

Ok, try this: go to settings - apps, toggle all and scroll down to Messaging. Force stop the app, clear data and restart your device.

The notification only disappeared when force stop the app but reappear after restart the device......

Strange @KKKarin.

Try to use a different SMS app, disable this one and get back to it. I would also contact my operator if I were you.

Is auto download MMS option enabled?
