hey,,,,, i have been trying to run windows update last few weeks but it hasnt been working during the scan it just continues doing the scan and does not stop when i try to close the window it wont allow me.....anyone know why ??
i tried this but it was somewhat of a temporairy solution

i re-registere these .dll's:
wuapi.dll
wuaueng.dll
wuaueng1.dll
wucltui.dll
wups.dll
wuweb.dll
by doing this
Click Start-> Run-> and type "Regsvr32 wuapi.dll wuaueng.dll wuaueng1.dll wucltui.dll wups.dll "
PLEASE HELP CRITICAL UPDATES AWAIT 
seriously no one? 
ok because i have automatic updates the critical ones installed but i still cannot access the optional ones because i have no access onto the site seriously no one knows the problem?
