I bought a VAIO VGN A295HP notebook. Since I am a researcher, I write articles and thus frequently use MS Office applications especially WORD(for text) and EXCEL(for graphics). I have a problem which I consider very important for me. In excel applications, when i draw a graphic, the y-axis title does not appear on the screen fully. For instance, as the y-axis title, I write " Decolorization (%) " but I only see on the screen
" Decoloriz ". as you see, part of the title can not be seen. However when I decrease the resolution of the LCD monitor from 1280x800 to 800x600, then the problem is solved and full title name can be seen. But when the resolution is decreased then the overall quality of the LCD view also decreases even worse than my Pentium II desktop. What should I do now? How can I solve this problem? I will be very glad if someone can tell me the reason of this problem and the solution. Please don't tell me that pay 2100 euro for a notebook and can not draw a very simple X-Y graphic. Some people say that this problem may originate because of the size of the monitor (15.4 inch) and resolution. I don't know. I looking forward for your advises...Thanks..

Hi
Usually I just drag the graph until I can see the writing, this is more of an office thing than resolution.

Can you post a screenshot of the problem?
