I've recently decided to upgrade my Vaio Z1RMP from 512mb to 1gig of memory, unfortunately a quick googling shows a number of not so nice sounding stories regarding getting at the SO-DIMM socket in this puppy, but no actual walkthroughs or tips.
Whilst I've reassembled a variety of laptops before, none of them have been quite as daunting as a Z1, so I'm wondering if there are any well regarded guides for upgrading the memory in a Z1?
Unfortunately copping out and buying matched kingston with a printed guide is something I'd rather avoid due to being able to get a rather large staff discount and immediate delivery on identical generic pc2100 sodimms.
