My Battery of the Vaio seems to has reached its end. Before I could work on battery for almost 7 hours. Just One year later, just 30 min remained. With just 600 Mhz. And Battery Optimized. Thats really sad.
Is this normal? I use my notebook 24h a day. In office and home. But Battery use is only home. How could this happen. What I made wrong?
Is it because I sometimes leave the Vaio in my car in the excessive heat of the desert?
Heat does affect the battery life significanty.
It is reasonable to say that under the circumstances you have outlined (24Hrs a day (even if exagerated) and excess heat) that your battery has come to the end.
Has anyone you know got another battery that is the same type that you can test to see if it lasts any longer?
If your VAIO lasted for 7 hours at its peak with a standard battery and you don't use it that much on the battery then you really don't need the extended life battery (plus its like twice as expensive!)

I will have to purchase a small fridge where I can put my vaio in when I park my car somewhere .
You could take it with you. If fits in a A4 folder so you can easily carry it into an air conditioned building etc.
