Touchpad driver problem

I have two little problem with the touchpad of the FS315H

1) I don't manage to disable the pad when using the usb mouse

2) After a format (for dual booting) i cant install the driver, none of the exe in the "pointer" directory work 😞

Hi GotenSSj and welcome to Club Vaio.

1. The touchpad can be disabled with Sony Notebook Setup – Start > All Programs > Sony Notebook Setup.

2. Check that Device Manager (under mice and other pointing devices) is listing a PS/2 pointing device and not a PS/2 mouse. If the latter then right click on this and select uninstall, re-boot and let windows discover and install the correct drivers for the touchpad.
