RED COLOUR PROBLEM IN VGN-A617S

Hello from Spain.
I have a problem with my new A617S VAIO Notebook with RED colour: pure red color (255,0,0 RGB) is DARK ORANGE, not RED. I detect it in a Excel spreadsheet with a group of cells fill with RED that appear as orange. Next I try with CorelDRAW, drawing an square form and filling it with "red" colour from palette (the colour apears "orange" in palette and the fill square was "orange" too. I set manually RGB values from the colour to 255,0,0 and ... orange.
I've tried to connect an Philips CRT Monitor and when I move with mouse the window to Philips CRT Monitor, the colour is RED, while in VAIO LCD screen is ORANGE (there isn't a graphic card problem).
Is a screen problem or all X-Black Sony screens can't reproduce accurately the red color (255,0,0 RGB)?
I'm waiting for a response at vaio-link two days ago, but ... could you please help me? Anyone has detected the same problem? Is a problem with my screen only or it's a general question in all X-black screen? Is this a sample of "more vivid colours" that Sony announces in his publicity?

Thanks,
Javier (Madrid-Spain)

Hi JGU,

Welcome to Club vaio,

Have you tried to calibrate the screen of your Vaio using something like Adobe Gamma loader.

Yes, I've tried to calibrate with Adobe Gamma and another similar programs. The result is a darker or brighter colour, but ORANGE, never red.

I've tried to switch an CRT monitor (Philips) and when I move the window to Philips CRT I see red colour, but when I return the window to VAIO, I see orange colour.

Hi JGU,

Edit: Just read cnagra's reply in another thread, I guess you could contact Vaio link again for a solution.
