RAM-upgrade possible?

several years ago I bought a Sony Vaio PCG-GRT785B notebook. The manual of the notebook says that the maximum capacity of RAM is 1GB.
Now I want to ask if this is something like a minimum support specification or is there no way to get 2GB Ram to run?

Are there some guys with eperience out there?

Unfortunately 1gb of Ram is the maximum that is supported by your Vaio GRT785B...
