Hi all
Abstract:
This solution permit to reduce the boot time of Vista during the restart disallowing certain services.
Procedure:
1) press start/Run and write "services.msc", the service panel will appear.
2)on the services panel find those services who you won't need:
so
Desktop Window Manager Session Manager: this option on/off vista to use AEREO style
Diagnostic Policy Service: System diangnostic, disallow vista to try to finds a solution when any sofware not works.
Diagnostic Service Host: like previous
Diagnostic System Host: like previous
Offline Files: this service load the cache of single users during the boot, if you don't work off-line, you may leave-it
Terminal Services: permits to use remote desktop and terminal server if you don't use leave-it
Windows Error Reporting Service: it's esasy to undertand
Windows Search: this service is the index of the files on your hard disk.
For summarize:
File off line
Machine Debug Manager (i've not found on my services :S)
NMIndexingService (i've not found on my services :S)
Windows search
Routing and remote access
Terminal service
Service gate sharing Net.Tcp
Service input Tablet PC (i've kept)
Service windows media Center Extended
Themes (i've kept)
Utility bost service windows media center (i've not found on my services :S)
Readyboost (i've kept)

Im going to try this , although Vista already loads really fast for me on my main pc !
