query about new motherboard for pcv-rz221

Hi.

I have the sony vaio pcv-rz221 and wish to buy a new motherboard as I have changed case to a thermaltake one.

I was wishing to buy the ABIT ic7-g.

But will the recovery software still work for the PC? As it has my windows on it and some other software like record now which I use?

It might be worth mentioning that I will probably not be putting some of the PCI cards back in, like giga-pocket, although I might!

The RCD's won't work, the BIOS is different.

To be honest with you, it would have been better if you'd built it yourself.
