if you have a touch pad icon in the bottom left of the screen, try double clicking it (with a mouse?) and have a look through its settings, somewhere should be test pads you can click on and alter the touchpads configaration.

Go to Device manager and right click the mouse or pointing device and select update driver. Then point the wizard in the direction of the downloaded touchpad driver. Hopefully this will install the correct drivers – If not come back for further troubleshooting suggestions…
