How do i work my webcam?

My new laptop is a VPCEH sony vaio and it has a buit in web cam but there is no icon to click on you use the webcam. Can i only use it on things like MSN and Skype? or is there somthing i can download so i can just take pictures?:smileyconfused:  Thank you

Do you have Arcsoft Webcam companion listed under Start All Programs? If so you should be able to use this software to take photos and record videos.
