Hi Dios,

It does sound like a hardware fault with the jack socket. You may need to have someone take a look at it to see if it needs replacement.

I presume nothing else works through this socket - like headphones?

May sound really stupid but i am just checking. Is the sound on or is it on mute?

No "blonde" problem there. It seems that the jack don't works anymore. Can't immagine why...

It seems that the transfer don't occurs anymore.

Thanks anyway.

PS: If someone figures it out and can advise how to fix this without sendin the laptop to sony, i'll be greatfull.

Make sure all the connectors are plugged into the sub properly, especially the remote control, if there is one.

I've had this problem in the past, took me a while to suss that it was the remote connection.

I have two cables, one of them goes to my tv and the other one goes to my laptop. Just one of the is pluged at a time. The tv works fine.
