DSD mode in SonicStage Mastering Studio help

Hi!

I have a sony-vaio VGN-FE11S. i have had the computer since march 2006 and i have never been able to make the DSD mode work in the sonicstage Mastering Studio and I have Sound reality. It tells me that i cannot record in DSD mode and to import and edit files but when i press the import button the program closes. I have re-installed the system and progam and i have done all the updates available and it still won't work.
Has anybody else had the same problem? can anybody give me any advice or help?
