I am trying to download an updated driver for my GeForce Go 7600 installed on my Vaio FE41S, but in nvidia site there are no drivers for geforce go 7 series. When can I download a newer version?
thank you
rkappa
I was looking for the same thing and eventually, yesterday, found it here:
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista
I got version 158.18 which is also available on the nVidia website but not for laptop.
When you download the driver you also need the MODDED INF file from the same place.
I was frustrated I could not install and run Google Sketchup 6, and now it's working brilliantly.
Driver is not Signed, but it works no problem.
I also have the FE41S
Thank you very much. This site is great!!!
The only thing that I've still not yet figure out is if driver 165.01 has FMS (full mobile support) because topics on site only arrive to 100.65
Which version do you use on your Vaio?
Thanks
rkappa
I dont know what FMS is, but this is what I am using now and every thing works OK.
There are now more options on the nVidia Control Panel.
I am using 158.18
There are some problems after all.
with the above driver the S1 button does not work and the Fn Brightness +/- do nothing.
The only way to adjust the brightness is via nVidia Control, not good.
I have rolled back to the previus driver, but Sketchup does not work so I will try a few others and see how it goes.
This one work better
165.01
still doesn't allow brightness adjustment with the S1 button though.
It does on my machine, did you use the modified .inf installation file?
