Doom 3 and the VGN-S1XP

Hi,
love my laptop, so muct that my sister gave me a copy of DOOM 3. It should work, it's over the min spec, but does it ? no.

After about 5 mins the screen locks, I can hear the audio, but Doom 3 has crashed.

Anybody else experiencing this problem ?

Ok before I post the link I'll say again, this mod is no more supported by ATI or Sony than the Omega ones. Only use if you are sure you can fix it if it makes a big mess. But for my money, it's more reliable.
Also remember that laptops especially have a fixed maximum resolution they are permitted to go up to, in my laptops case this is 1024x768. This mod allows you to set your resolution to crazily high resolutions. I have no idea what will happen if you set yours higher than it's supposed to go so just DONT DO IT lol. It ain't worth it my son.

played doom3 on vgn-a117s with one gig internal memory(upgraded).... it rocks! vaio rules....
