I do have the same problem... I can't see Bluespace in the 'running tasks' either... don't understand it.

Anybody an idea?

Did you get the bluetooth hotfixes from MS?

Same problem here on my Vaio VGN-A195EP.

You know what I think about this VGN-A195EP? I think it doesn't have bluetooth. On the specs I read 'Bluetooth 1.1 support' but that's it. Maybe you need an extra USB Bluetooth dongle? I don't know what this 'support' means.

Use the recovery-CD to install Windows XP. If you don't want to use this CD (like me), wait for the final release of the Service Pack 2. I tried the RC 2 and BT works without any troubles.

Until the SP2 is released, use the Recovery-CD if you need Bluetooth.

P.S.: I have the Sony VGN-A197VP.

Yep - SP2 will be complete by the end of August, so get that and you won't need Bluespace
