BATTERY LIFE

Hi,

Can anyone help? I have the PCG-GRT815e model fitted with std battery. The machine is great but the battery life is terrible - it only lasts 41 minutes - Is there anything I can do to extend the battery life??

It's just a standard P4, not mobile? If so you cannot do much about it

The battery life is indeed terrible. There's a million things you can do abou it, none of them especially practical. Buy a second battery for instance. Or try to leave it plugged in. Turning the screen brightness down and muting the sound helps a little......running a CD or DVD will eat it the battery like it was fluffy marshmallows. Basically anything other than just sitting there idle will consume power, so try to avoid things that will use power, you can if you think about it a little. It's unhelpful I know but as Kee-Lo said, there's very little you can do.
