Unwanted icon.
Hi how do I get rid of this icon when I play radio on my "Sony Bravia kd43xf8505"
It's a little round blue icon with the words "audio only"
It's just there when I go on to a radio channel for example Radio 5 live

Hi mattytun,
Welcome to the community.
I'll see if I can track down an answer. Maybe someone else in the community has an idea in the meantime.
Thanks,
Pascale

Hi mattytu,
I've checked this, and it seems that this message can't be deleted or completely disabled.

Hi mattytu,
I don't think that this would possibly damage the screen at all, due to the type of the screen your TV has.
Thanks,

Agree this is really annoying. Can Sony change this in the next update please!

I complained at length with Sony support about this and now have two different case numbers.
The last response via email from sony support:
Following your response, please note that the case is now under investigation, we will reply back to you with the results soon.
Hopefully a fix may be applied to future firmware in due course. It would be great if there was some sort of workaround to stop this from appearing or allow cancellation of the banner that didn't involve ensuring the selected digital channel was not a radio channel.
