Yesterday received the device today battery dies !

My new Sony xperia T battery is die fairly quickly after chargeing,maximum life to the battry is  three or four hours on standby mode !

Sony Corp.reported on their site says the battery life i will be:

Talk time (up to): 7 hours [1]

Standby time (up to): 450 hours [1]

Music listening time (up to): 16 hours [1]

Video playback time (up to): 5 hours 

but clearly is not and i'm very frustrating !!

First of all, new batteries needs a few charging cycles before they reach their max capacity. Second, it all depends on usage of the phone. You don't mention just how many times you have charged it so far, but I'd say it takes about 10-15 charging cycles before it will be at it's best.

Have you tried disabling functions like wifi, gps, bluetooth, lowered screen brightness and such to see if it's improved? These are all very battery consuming functions. 3-4 hours does indeed sound very low, but you don't mention what you are doing with your phone during these hours.

If you check under Settings > Battery you can see what functions has drained the battery. Post a screenshot of these here and I'll have a look at it.

I fully charged the phone while i received " before i get setup my phone " to the first time.

Second thing up to write this text above i've been recharged about five time " fully charge,wall charger ,phone switched off " and yes i tried to disable all functions and apps from settings plus i lowered the screen brightness"if you check the video link it will explain more" during the 3-4 hours phone was on standby mode.

i did open my facebook and use it,i did listen to the music,i did very shot phone call maybe twice but i notes the battery losing charge fairly quickly that's why i did the steps above and surprising from the the battery performance !
