Xperia U Total user-accessible memory

Hello, Well I'm about to buy this phone. But I'm confuesd about the memory size of thi phone. in the http://www.sonymobile.com/cws/corporate/products/phoneportfolio/specification/xperia-u specifications page I saw Internal Memory: 8GB (4GB user-accessiable) and Flash Memory: 8GB eMMC.

Now my question is, TOTAL (Flash memory+Internal memory) user accessible memory size?

And, Flash memory and Internal memory are the same thing? If not, then I think total user accessible memory is 12GB? Or its just 4GB? :S Please reply. Thanks

The fact here is

The total memory is 8gb

4 gb can be used for your files like music and all

2 gb can be used for your apps.

So its total 6gb and the rest 2gb is used by the system

you cant with warranty, you can with custom kernel and ROMs. It is not too safe but still many people do it.

Yes you can repartition it but you will need a rooted phone and I guess a unlocked bootloader
