it is a Global phone now
2G Network | GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 |
3G Network | HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 - LT26i |
so if you are in the US you can use this phone with Tmobile and ATT 2G, 3G, 3G+ (faux 4G) but it lack LTE 4G

hi, thanks for the answer.. but no I don't live in the US, but in latinamerica where I normally bought "a" version like my satio(U1a)
but if is it really a unique global version it should work right?? because here we use 850/1900 bands
altough i did find these pages taht talk about the "a" version here are the links:

yeah those are the AT&T bands, so it should work just fine
