Hello, Sony engineers:
I've got my Xperia S LT26i a month ago
and now I found one big big problem
the problem is, when I connect a keyboard to my handset,
it works, and I can type A-Z english character using the keyboard.
but how can I input Japanese or Chinese character ?
All other input methods (IMEs) doesn't work with your USB OTG function.
English ONLY ?!
Hey, SONY is a Japan brand, NOT a UK one.
so please please fix this ASAP.

The information I just received confirms that Gingerbread only support English.
ICS will however support more languages. I do however not know which ones at this point.

For the time being A-Z and 0-9 are the only characters supported.
I will try to find out some more information on this and see if there's a good reason to why other characters are not supported or if they maybe will be supported in the near future. I'll post here again when I know more.

This is perhaps a bit of a long shot, but can you use the Roman letters to enter Japanese using romaji, as can be done on the Japanese keyboard on the phone, and then select the appropriate kana or kanji from the list...? I don't have a USB keyboard, so I can't test this, but it might be worth a try.

Thanks very much for your answer and great support.
Hopefully after ICS update my phnoe will able to type more than A-Z with usb keyboard.
And there are two other problems:
a) it looks like the camera application cannot save user settings,
b) system gallery automatically show all the images and pictures stored in phone but everyone has
some private things don't want to show on the phone screen. :smileyblush:
a) Some user settings will be restored when you exit the camera application.
b) Yes, this is true. The phone will scan for, and show, all pictures in the phone. There might be 3rd party gallery apps in Play Store that allows you to choose which picture folders to display.

Princess, for problem "b)" try out QuickPic from Play Store. Its a great (fast, goodlookin and great features) photoviewer. With that app You can choose wich folders to hide (just longpress the folder).
