The groovy new Xperia live wallpaper most commonly seen on the Sony Xperia S has leaked. There wallpaper, called Cosmic Flow, is available in six colours (Cosmic, Ruby, Gold, Amethyst, Silk and Emerald) and the wallpaper responds to touch. We downloaded and used it with no problem on the Xperia arc, although it does appear to be a bit laggy.

We don’t know if there is a leaked system ROM dump somewhere, we guess there has to be if the live wallpaper has leaked. Therefore expect other bits from the new Xperia software to surface sooner rather than later. You can download the apk yourself here.

How to sideload apps

1st Method

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

https://market.android.com/details?id=org.openintents.filemanager&feature=search_result

download the app on your computer, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

2nd method

download the apk on your computer, send it to yourself through email, make sure you send it to your Gmail

now on your phone

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

wait for the email, once  you get the email, open it, and instead of downloading the attachment it will allow you to install it, voila, done

3rd Method

BOX and upload the apks from any computer

install the App on your phone -> open BOX -> tap on the app -> install it

4th Method by far the easiest

download the app, transfer it to your SD card

its a bit laggy though , consumes 16mb of ram..

Id just installed it on my arc s and it lags: lockscreen to homescreen, locking from homescreen. although it states it is using 13mb :l

hope SE makes this official for all the 2011 xperias 😕

fixes all the lag and stuff. Yay!
