Xperia S keeps restarting randomly

I got this phone a few days ago and I am very pleased with the performance of it, however whenever I use the phone, it has a tendency of randomly restarting itself on its own accord, I can't browse the web either because it instantly restarts then..

I have tried to reset it to factory, apply update over the old one and so on, nothing fixed it, still unstable..

Would really appreciate if anyone had a fix for this issue.

means did you update you phone ??

perform a software repair again, and after repairing, your all phone's data/apps would be deleted

Don't install even a single 3rd party app again and track your phone's performance to see how it goes

Update/Repair your phone via PCC

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to). Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

Seems like this fixed it, havent had any issues after at least.. Ill try one by one of my apps then to see which one will cause the trouble.. Thank you for the help!

Dears,

I have the same problem and I did try the suggested solution, but it didn't work..

Its been two weeks now, the phone keeps restarting randomly,, I upgraded the software, performed a repair, cleared internal memory, didn't install any app and in the same day after like 4-5 hours it restarted.

What shall I do now, its really annoying that whenever u really need the phone it restarts instead of handling big stuff effectively!!!!

I have the same random restarting issue as well, and I'm already on a replacement handset after returning one for the same problem.

The phone just slows down, becomes unrepsonsive then and reboots.

I will try a software repair again and see what happens, at this rate its a software repair every other day.

Hi , i have had seen many people reporting the same problem and it seems to be with the firmware

i will contact with other moderators about this and lets hope it gets fixed (soon) in future
