See title. Considering that I've seen these support videos on Youtube, it is silly that they don't work in the support app. Should be a trivial thing for SE to fix.

Yes, those were the videos that I would have expected to see in the support app. I don't really need them personally, but was thinking that this sort of thing is valuable for a new user to get up to speed (assuming that this just isn't a one-off issue with my own phone).
FYI, normal YouTube videos through the YouTube app work fine.
I have just noticed something else. If I tap "more topics" and then "load more topics" in the support app, then I get the same error message as I do when trying to load the videos.
This would rule out YouTube being the problem. It sounds like it is something to do with whatever RSS feed (or whatever) that is being used by the support app.
Sounds like you're right. I will report this. I guess there will need to be a software update of either the phone or the Support app for this to be sorted.
Thanks for posting your findings.
... Oops - spoke too soon. There has been some progress on this but it isn't fixed. I now no longer get the "cannot load content" message and can see a list of support videos in the support app; I can also see a list of "more topics" too.
However, when I try to play one of the videos the Support app force closes. Many of the "more topics" just contain the word "undefined" when open, and some topics contain garbled syntax.
Have you tried updating the software in you phone as Markus recommended in his last post? Since Markus has reported this issue already and has not written back here, i dont think he has got any answer yet.
i have the same problem on my xperia play
i had an older xperia play that broke down now on the new one i got i wont get the tutorial videos to upload
is there a fix for this ?
It's been reported but there's no fix for the time being unfortunately.
Great, thanks for updating this thread and for marking it with the correct answer.
