Xperia Pro - Problem with WIFI

HELLO SE SUPPORT,

I HAD RECENTLY BUY THE XPERIA PRO, BEFORE UPDATE FIRMWARE TO ANDRIOD 4.0 WIFI CONNECTION WAS WORKING FINE, NOW AFTER UPDATE WIFI KEEPS CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING EVERY TIME???? IT KEEPS SEARCHING FOR HOTSPOTS BUT KEEPS DISCONNECTING EVEN AFTER CONNECTING SOMETIME?

PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW IF THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR MY PHONE WIFI? SO I CAN SEND IT TO SERVICE CENTER OR IT IS SOMETHING RELATED TO THE UPDATE ITSELF.

You don't have to SCREAM!! (upper case = screaming, which is quite root)

this is a bug and it might be solved with a new update

For our 2011 range, as you know, we began our Ice Cream Sandwich software upgrade with Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V last month.

Now, we are happy to confirm that the remaining 2011 smartphones; Xperia arc, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman will start to receive their updates starting from next week.

This software upgrade will be Android version 4.0.4 and the good news is that this latest version will also be made available for Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V users, who received Android 4.0.3 the first time around.

in other words you will get it sometime this week (last week of May)

This means, I don't have to send my phone to SE service center, and it is about a bug in previous Firmware? True.

Hello Moderator,

I can see in some posts that updates for SE Xperia Pro is there "4.0.2.A.0.69", but for germany only? Is there any possible way to have this update? or when it is expected that we can receive the official update?

SOLUTION OF WIFI PROBLEM AFTER UPGRADING INTO 4.0.4 TRY IT . ITS WORK ON MY XPERIA NEO V

Dear fren when i upgrade my xperia Neo v from 2.3.5 android version to 4.0.4 . i have wifi problem connecting and disconnecting in a sec. I seaech for solution in internet and try all the possible solution i read in blog but non of solution are working . i am engineer and about knowledge about broadcasting channel so i try to change my security option in router suddenly its works but now i have security concern. so i restore all the security function again phone behave same as i have early , wifi problem. NOw i change my SSID broadcaste name and delete old profile from my phone. and try to connect with old password its work. Now my phone behave as Smart phone and i am using WiFi from my phone . try it
