Hi, I live in Mexico and I don't have access to the Playstation Pocket store, it says "Not available in your area/region". If I root my phone will this give me access to another region's store? I got a credit card and I wanna purchase some classics.
I have 2.3.4 is rooting possible on this version? Rooting my phone will void my warranty? Thanks, if you can help me with this questions.

yes if you root your phone, you will have access to many other goodies, BUT if you are not familiar with rooting, you should read this before you do so, you might kill your phone if you do something wrong (not with the rooting process but by modifying it)

I doubt rooting is the answer, since Google knows you are in Mexico, you can debrand if you want but that won't change the IP info (country you live in) either wifi or through network

This one works? http://talk.sonyericsson.com/message/144864#144864
The one on xda says it doesn't work with 4.0.2.A.0.62 will it work with 4.0.2.A.0.42?
SuperOneClick works but not with 4.0.2.A.0.62, you will need to change kernel
but it does work with 4.0.2.A.0.42
try it out, and again you are NOT unlocking your bootloader at all. so you can unroot anytime with superoneclick or with PC Companion or Update Service
Ok great, I have 4.0.2.A.0.42 so it should work. So even if i root i won't have access to playstation pocket games. So what are the benefits of rooting it? I heard that you can overclock it? If that's true how do you do that and what would be a safe speed on the processor? Thank you for all your help
