Xperia Play R800i NUC

Hello,

I've bought an xperia play r800i more then 3 months ago locked to vodafone IE network.

I live in UK and have a UK contract which i can't use on my new phone as it is locked to irish vodafone.

I've tryed different people and even asked the vodafone to provide me a code to unlock my phone and no one as been able to help me.

They've said my phone it's unlocked already but is not!!! it's a very long story and it's difficult for me to explain it in a good way.

The thing is that I can't belive no one can unlock my ne phone since more then 3 months!!!!!!!!!!

Is there here anyone who can help me?

is it locked as it's locked to a network and you can't use a sim card from another carrier? if so, who is the first carrier? also you can use other alternatives like wotanserver

The network is locked, I can use the phone as device but not as phone, it's asking me the Network Ulocking Code which at the moment no one could provide me.

It's locked to Vodafone IE and I would like to use a sim from Vodafone UK.

I've requested the code from local shops and after I've asked to the Vodafone and after long time waiting they've said they cannot provide the code as the phone it's unlocked but the phone it's not!!!!

I'm now trying wotaserver but i've tried something similar before and didn't work... I'll let you know in a moment if wotaserver will work.

any other ways you know?

have you taken the phone to the store so they can see themselves that it's locked?

if I were you I would take the phone to the store so they can see it, that way they can't say that it's unlocked when it's not

wotaserver worked perfectly!!!!!

i can't belive it!!!!

I've used it once and did't work at all... i've followed your suggestion anyway and bought a second credit for it.... now I've one spear but the important is to have my phone unloked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
