I'm trying to repair my software using pc companion but in the 2nd step it fails and says unable to install or start softwre update components

try SUS and turn off your firewall and antivirus

there might be a problem with the software that u have installed over the pc

just remove it and install a fresh copy of pc companion and restart ur pc

you can also try SUS for updating your phone software and it works more efficiently then PC companion
