Xperia Ion retail price point too high ...

It is already on sale there.  I want to provide some feedback on the price point ... Most people find it too high.

HTC One X is also $5,198 but it has 4 cores and comes with Android™ 4.0 to start.

Samsung Galaxy S III is priced at $5,598.

4G LTE only supports LTE Band IV and Band XVII (not available in Hong Kong)

you have to compare the Xperia Ion with the Galaxy SIII LTE (it has dual core) but yeah the Ion indeed is overpriced

They have now updated the price to $4,998 and giving away a free 32GB microSD card.  Thanks!

Xperia Ion for AT&T 25 June 2012 $99 w/ a 2 year contract $40 + $30 data plan, seems a bit too much

uliwooly, where are you located?  This phone is also coming out in Canada with the same monthly fee as USA AT&T, but people will have to sign up for a 3-year contract.
