Will my Neo V accept ICS?

I got a NeoV with SI 1254-4760 for which the update has been released. I bought this phone in Germany, but I Use it in Albania and my Mobile Carrier is Vodafone Albania. The reason I'm asking the question is because I read somewhere that some dude had bought his phone in another country like me and he updated but his SIM card wouldn't work after ICS update, and I need to be sure before updating that my Sim will work with the ICS upgrade.

suggested to tkae out the sim card and then install

Other suggestion- If possible.. format your sd card for clear installation ( settings > storage > unmount sd card > erase sd card ) and then install ics
