Wi-Fi connection password

Hi everybody.

I want to connect my ELM to my network via wi-fi.

Unlikely it does not work.

There is a message that says 'Connection to the network failed' (here I write all messages in English so everybody
can understand them).
Some time ago when I had a notebook I could establish the connection easily. Now I have got
a PC which is connected to the wlan network. Maybe I have made slightly changes at the router
(Vodafone DSL-EasyBox 803) which are recommended and should be alright. WLAN is WPA2 secured.

These are the steps I do:
activate WiFi
select my network ssid
a message says correctly that the network was secured and one should request the correct password from the owner.
enter the password
the connection request lasts about 30 sec.
the message says 'Connection to the network failed'.

Unlikely there are several passwords and PINs in the network context and I'm a bit unsure about which is adequate.
None of them was successful.
a) a WPA2-SPK key (changeable at the router). To my mind that should be the correct one.
b) a WLAN network key (printed at the back of the router).
c) a WPS pin (changeable at the router)
d) a password of the homegroup (from windows)

Perhabs someone can tell me which is the right one.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

You should use the option "a)" - WPA2-PSK key.

Have you tried to connect to another router? Do you experience the same behavior?
