Hello friends,

I use Neo with android 2.3.4.

Where I can find SMS settings in which I can change my SMS center number and all? Please help. Thanks in advance

I got the Solution: Very simple

Dial *#*#4636#*#*.
You will get a menu, from that select Phone Information
You will find a setting "SMSC"
Refresh it. It is most likely to retrieve the message center number from your operator. (Or call your operator, and get the message center number, and then update in this field)

what do you mean by SMS center number?

open the messaging app then press MENU -> settings

or I don't know if you are reffering to the APN settings

settings -> wireless & networks -> mobile networks -> access point names

Above setting is for GPRS.

I want SMS setting which gives settings related to SMS profile like Message center number (also called SC address), validity period, msg type etc.

someone noob like me will get frightened looking at such testing settings and would always be scared of changing any small thing. Once I could not find my solution dialing what you said, i got scared. cancelled. Googled it and found it that SMSC is the thing i am looking for. I clicked on refresh and I updated it to the original which was deliberately changed by me on my old ex-SE phone.
