Dear Friends,
What is the meaning in posting the bugs of xperia P here, when neither SONY technical support or SONY developers don't respond to us?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The only ones helping are other people...the staff are not very well informed and can't promise too many things.
Hi all,
If u want to express your dissatisfaction here please post here so that we can convey our message to SONY
Hi all,
Please click 'like' as a vote , if you feel that your expectations are not met by SONY
I work in the information technology field and was also surprised to discover that there is no formal support system in place (or at least I am not aware of one).
The way it usually works with vendors (Cisco, Dell, etc.) is - you would submit a support ticket describing the issue, steps to reproduce, relevant screenshots or log files, serial number, etc. and you get issued a support ticket number. You can use that ticket number to follow up on the status or RMA the item.
That being said, I am in communication with one of the Sony support representatives that frequents the forum hoping that he might be able to reach out to the Sony engineers regarding the wi-fi issue detailed in this thread but there should be a more structured approach to providing support.
As far as I know, ticketing support exist only in cases where there is paid supoort available.
I know your problem!
i have given up my hopes regarding any response from sony on iCS bugs
You are not the only one,my friend. The only hope that i have left is that my phone doesn't get in big trouble, and i am thankful for not having big troubles with it until now.
I am with you, and I am an IT guy as well, and I didn't think anyone could have worse support than Cisco TAC, but like my grandfather says, just keep living and you will see. I like the phone and it takes great shots of my racks and stands and cabinets, but as far as ANY Cisco apps I need to run, Sony is not supported. One thing I hate is buyers remorse, and with this Xperia Z, I'm feeling it. The choice was between the Nexus 5 and this, and after 2 days of research (or what I thought was research) I got the Sony, and now I feel like I should have went with the Asus (Nexus 5), who would have ever thought! I should have know if the phone is water proof, it shouldn't be used by an IT guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
