Weird problem with tipo

I am using Sony xperia tipo, i can play Music player using headsets but when i try to play it through speakers it wont play..
My speakers play ringtone when i get incoming calls but it's not playing Music Player at all. Now i can't hear any incoming or outgoing call but i can hear it using phone's same speaker & headsets. What do i do??

Update your phone software using PC companion. Or repair it using the same.

If it is already updated or have repaired phone software, then you can try some tricks to put it back to work.

1- Restart your phone several times. Then try if it works.

2- Phone software has glitch i.e. if you insert headset pin, radio automatically turns on even if you haven't set it to start automatically like this. So, if it is happening, turn off radio, then again restart phone and test.

3- Insert headset pin, pull it out, insert it back. Repeat this process 3 or 4 times, and test.

4- If nothing works, take it to service centre to get it repaired.

It sounds as if your phone thinks a headset is connected even when there's not.

Try to remove and connect the headset a few times and check so that there's no dirt or similar in the phones headset connector.
If that doesn't help i recommend that you contact your dealer or local Sony Xperia support for service of your phone.
