Version 4.1 still lags ?

Hey guys i just connected my arc s and i can see that the 4.1.B.0.587 is available so i was wondering is it better then 4.0 ? Are there still freezing and that kind of bugs. Yes i still run the Gingerbread cause i dont want my phone to lag Oh and when is jelly bean coming ? I would love to see it on my arc s. And if it does lag will using apex launcher make the lag go away ?

The .587 update contains performance optimizations, but as you probably know our ICS update is more performance demanding.

I just took the leap of faith and it turned out to work great There are no lags at all, camera works fine and everything is much better than in GB. Oh and i installed the Apex Launcher and it has transformed my phone. Thank you Sony for making great phones!
