urgent: how to install an apk (first one)

Hi,

I got my neo phone back from service center with latest software update.

Now I need to re install all apps  and I don't have wifi facility. But I have bunch of apks on my SD card which is in phone.

Even to browse, I need to install some app like astro file manger but there is no wifi I can't access android market.

I have astro file manger on my sd card. How can I browse and install apks from my neo? 

If some how I can install astro from my sd card then I can browse other apks and install easily.

Please help me how I can browse files first apk and isntall on my fresh installed neo phone?

go to settings > applications > and tick unknown sources  > ok

download this to ur pc http://www.lysesoft.com/products/andexplorer/AndExplorer.apk
after downloading it to ur pc , send it to ur mobile via bluetooth and not usb... ONLY VIA BLUETOOTH
the phone will ask u to install it
install it and then with its help find astro file manager and install it
once you install ur astro then uninstall this file manager and unmark the unknown sources option

but the android software still has installer that can install apps
we cannot use it directly,, but when we tap on .apk file it installs the file

thanks for guiding me to install apps without wifi.

BTW how can I get application installer app back in my neo?? can I get that apk from any where?.

nopes u can get that back
now manage it with astro file manager only its the best on android
i think the app is removed from the 0.68 update :smileyconfused:.. though it was usefull
