Update Xperia U with New 6.0.B.3.171(3 Jul 2012)

After 6.0.B.3.162 update I am facing severe network drop every 30mins, have to restart the cell to get network access. Please tell me how to update my phone to new release 6.0.B.3.171.

Is this update available in INDIA ???

PCC says my xperia U is having latest software i.e. 6.0.B.3.162

Issue is resolved after .184 update

As far as I know you are from India, right? But here I still did not receive any update. And I am checking this for XP. Did the new update resolve the network issue?

Well .184 must resolve the network issue. Have updated to .184 and willhave to wait for the verification of the result . fingers crossed...

I have updated to .184 this morning in Pakistan... Haven't faced the Netwrok drop issue on 2G with Data On.. Keeping my fingers crossed :smileyhappy:.. Thanks Sony.. Bring Up ICS Now

I am having ..162 version, when I try to check updates its saying 'Your phone is having latest software', but my friend is having old ..154 version for him its showing latest software ..184 is available.

How can I update it to latest 184 (without doing manually), please Answer

You need to do it through http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/ this and it will update it because the pc companion said i had the latest and when i did it through this (yesterday) it said there was an update to .184
