Update phone Country Setting.

Hi. I bought my xperia go from china, which the phone is preloaded with Baidu, RenRen, Taobao & other chinese apps.

Would appreciate if anyone can advise me how to unistall these apps and change to other apps like those Google apps, Facebook & even install the Google Play store. I am currently at other country which I need these apps more instead of the aforementioned apps.

The Play Now is not function on my phone by displaying that my country/region is not supported.

Is there anyway to update or change the country settings?

The applications pre-installed on the phone is not generally possible to uninstall I'm afraid. Wether it might be possible in the future is for the future to tell I'm afraid.

If your phone is missing the Google Play Store I'd recommend you to get in contact with your local Sony Mobile support for assistance of how to proceed. You can find contact info on the link below.
