unable to update firmware because both companion and update service fails to detect phone!

i am unable to update the firmware because the software fails to detect my phone!!

i plug phone into computer, and open companion and it detects the phone..  i click update and then the phone gets turned off automatically and then when it tries to search for the phone again it fails..

i was then shown the screen to unplug phone, turn off, and hold speaker down + plug in usb which i followed but it doesn't detect my phone!

help...  how do u update??

why are there so many problems with this phone =(

Hi , boot pc in safe mode with networking on or turn firewall and antivirus off and then run update service
